Chris was born to William and Marjorie Martorano on Saturday February 3, 1968 in Brooklyn. They moved to Pearl River when Chris was 2 years old. Chris went to Saint Joseph Regional High School, then received a degree in Banking. He loved working. Through banking, he helped people with their goals and dreams. His attentive, ethical manner left his clients remembering him for years. Chris loved helping people and animals in his free time as well. He belonged to the Knights of Columbus and had been very involved in Rotary Club International, being honored as a Paul Harris Fellow. He welcomed the opportunity to serve: Meals on Wheels and volunteering at his favorite pet shelter,  P.A.T.C.H., are but two of the many ways in which Chris shared what he could.

Chris cherished his family. He never had a harsh word to say about anyone. He always had people laughing with his hilarious wit. He was a true gentleman.

A funeral Mass will be held at St Aedan's Church in Pearl River on Wednesday August 25, at 11am. Burial will follow at Pearl River Cemetery.

It is Chris' wish that memorial donations be made to either of two special organizations : Matthew's Hearts of Hope  or Pet Adoption Thru Caring Hands (P.A.T.C.H.), 26 Lakeside Ave, Pompton Lakes, NJ 07442 (973)835-7202
